A poem about the historical fall of the Roman Republic. It is partially written from the perspective of Brutus, who viewed Rome through rose-colored glasses. Written in September 2025.
[On Power] Astrology is slop mysticism for the 21st century, which has been mainstreamed because it lacks the complexity of the gnostics, hermeticists, and theosophists. One characteristic of pop astrology is the assumption of a zodiac sign: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Sagittarius (this one has been assigned to me), etc.
