On Brooding Remember to brood every once in a while. Written in December 2025.

Wretched Virtue Where do we get when a society no longer rewards virtue and restraint? Resentment and bitterness, probably. Written in December 2025.

Anatomy of the State [Political] Taking a slightly more literal meaning of Murray N. Rothbard's essay, "The Anatomy of the State", I wrote this to express my contempt in the most grotesque way possible. Written in November 2025.

On The Virtue of Creation [Biblical] One of the greatest virtues that does not get enough attention is the 'virtue of creation'. While I am not Christian, I write this poem from a Christian lens, with the virtue coming from God. Written in November 2025.

A Midnight Memoir from H.P. Lovecraft [Cosmic horror] This poem is written from the perspective of Lovecraft. In life, he was a staunch materialist. This poem asks whether he really believed that or if he was lying to himself to keep himself sane. Written in November 2025.

THE GOSPEL FOR GOD'S EARS ONLY [Cosmic horror] [Nietzschean]
I wrote this after comparing the ideologies of Nietzsche and Lovecraft. For Lovecraft, the protagonist would go mad from staring into the abyss. For Nietzsche, the Ubermensch was the one who would not. However, to what extent is madness enlightenment? This is my second most ambitious poem ever written. It is written in three parts, following a 'Zarathustra-like' prophet. Written in October 2025.

Folly (For Liberty) [Historical] [Political] A poem about the historical fall of the Roman Republic. It is partially written from the perspective of Brutus, who viewed Rome through rose-colored glasses. Written in September 2025.

Comfort in the Macabre [Horror] As a child, I convinced myself that I did not know how to sleep. I was 'plagued' by nightmares. Written in late 2025.

A Date in Heaven [Romance] [Cosmic horror] Not everything is what it seems. Written in late 2025.

Comedy Night [Partial prose] [Mythological horror] On the stage, what is there to believe? Is he sincere? Sincere but crazy? Morbidly joking? What would it sound like in a different setting? Mildly experimental. Written in early 2025.

Ceibo [Ode] [Romance] "Ceibo" is the national flower of Argentina. Written in September 2024.

Advice from someone who remembered to breathe This poem is related to a weird experience of sudden consciousness I felt when I was a child. I wonder if there are those who have never had it. Written in early 2023.

Riddles for the Truthseeker [Political] [Experimental] This poem, at its heart, is about how the state distorts the truth. Written in early 2023.

There is something growing out of my fingers [Partial prose] [Grotesque horror] I remember writing this one within about an hour after a strange dream I had. I have a soft spot for it. Written in early 2023.

The Eighth Wonder [Romance] [Historical] My second attempt at a 'love' poem. No real motivation to try and publish this one. Written in September 2023.

TO THE DEAD, BY THE DEAD [Cosmic horror] [Mythological horror]
The most ambitious poem I have ever written. Three distinct parts. The second is a poem adaption of "The Last Incantation" by Clark Ashton Smith. Over 1300 words. Started in early 2022 and finished in early 2023. Unpublished but wish to change that.

The Shift A poem on the inevitability of change. I have always wanted to expand this one, and I will one day. Written in late 2021.

"Our Democracy" [Satire] [Political] This early poem is about the illusion of democracy and how it's used as a weapon to justify the power of horrible people. The AABB rhyme scheme is meant to sound ridiculous. Written in early 2021.

"There are roaches under Cedar St. Zoo" [Cosmic horror] My first poem written and published. Written in late 2020. Published in High Grade 2023.
